Word Meme (laaaate :()

Tue Nov 10, 2009, 1:13 PM
The Meme where you TAG yourself!

Reply to this post by yelling "Words!" and I will give you five words that remind me of you. Then post them in your journal and explain what they mean to you.

Words from :iconxgreenling:

1) Twin
I have but one! :D And mine is better than yours any day. :glomp: (+*telepathy*!)

2) Heterochromia
Prettyyy! It's rather a shame I don't actually have heterochromia iridium, though, isn't it? So I'm stuck pinning it on imaginary characters....ok, one. xP I'm not exactly sure why I find it as fascinating as I do. Perhaps it's simply because it's so unusual.

3) Hair
Ok, I admit it: my hair is crazy. It's pretty much its own entity, which happens to reside atop my head. And while I've managed to figure out how to conquer combing it, making it do what I want continues to escape me. Oh well. At least this way I have exciting macaroni noodles/telephone cords that :iconxgreenling: can doodle with when bored/falling asleep. =P LOL.

4) Fantasy
Yes! Now if I can only figure out how to insert myself into a fantasy world... I've been reading fantasy books since I first developed a passion for--no, since I first started reading, actually. The first I probably read were the Redwall series, which I remember cradling during Silent Reading Time in second grade. Why do they stop having such a lovely hour later in the educational system?

5) Capslock!
MUAHAHA. (Why wasn't "capslock" written in caps, BTW?) Because everything's better on crack, with copious amount of LOL AND WTF heaped on top. It's probably a good thing there are such comms, since my brain actually does operate in capslock on occasion, and it's good to know I'm not alone in the crazy. :D

Tag yourselves if you want!

...I so want to be a member of a Korean boy band. Despite the fact that I'm neither Korean, nor a boy. xP
:icontalking-jive:
I'm sitting around today sipping jasmine tea and trying not to fall over like the broken madwoman I seem to be acting (because I had a rather dangerous time stumbling to the bathroom this morning to brush my teeth. I kept falling into the walls. This made me think 'Woah, I must be pretty messed up today. Weird. Maybe I should go back to bed- wait! But then I'd have to miss my dear Physics-- *falls into the wall and stays there for a minute trying to catch my breath*. Hmmm... Definitely going back to bed.' ) and wishing I could render like this : [link]

Gawd. The painting is so tight. What brush settings do you think they're using? It doesn't look like opacity or size is related to pressure.... What do you think?
:iconyunamira:
Oh, you poor thing! *snuggles* I wonder what brought this on, and what exactly it is that you have. :( You be sure to get a lot of rest and drink enough. Maybe you need some more protein/nutrients/vitamins? Make sure you let me know if there's anything I can do.

Oh wow, that is pretty kickass. My bet is on opacity, if he's using a pressure sensor, but it's difficult to tell, since we can't see outside the window the painting is in. I just want to know how he knew what shadow color to choose -before- he'd laid in any of the other colors!
:icontalking-jive:
:huggle:

So crazy. It would be great to know color so well.... but how does one even learn that kind of thing?! *sigh
:iconyunamira:
I guess like all things...practice? Damn. I'm pysching myself out by working at crazy high resolutions. It's great for adding detail, but before I can even get there I tend to get overwhelmed. :s
:icontalking-jive:
Ergh......

I wish there was a magic Skittle that, when we ate it, would release our latent TALENTZ. Maybe it will appear when Wan reverts to her true form?! I'll call you right away. I'll be all 'Woah. Abb-tronic it's finally happened,' and you will instantly know what has happened and you'll summersault down to Akin, smashing through your window with a single flex and whirling through the air, and we'll become crime fighting criminals with masks and canoes, and hot accents, and telescopes, and cooking skills and computer-programming sills and super-sonic high-fives and Yumi can come toooo!
*gasps for air*

Photoshop gets all lag-y on me when I work to big. What size canvas do you usually work on?

:aww:
